RULES

1: TIME

Participants will have 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete their assigned boulders.

2: FORMAT

This bouldering comp ismodified redpoint format:

This means you only earn points for problems you top/complete. The person with the most tops in their category wins. You have unlimited attempts to top a problem. In the event of a tie, competitors will be separated by number of attempts so it is important to keep track
of your attempts.

3: CATEGORY

Look for boulderswith placards that matchyour category.

Climb as many boulders in your category as you can during your climbing session.

Record each attempt on your scorecard.

Have two witnesses initial your scorecard after each boulder is topped.

Record the total number of boulders topped, and your total attempts for all topped* boulders on top of your scorecard.

4: FAIRNESS

In the interest of fairnessand competition, be honestand assign yourself to the proper category.

You may be moved to a different categorythan you initially signed up for. Choose acategory based on whether or not you could complete two problems of that grade withina day.

5: BETA

Discussing beta is acceptable and highly encouraged.

Get to know each other!But please do so while on the ground (don’t yell beta while climbers are on the wall).

6: ATTEMPTS

Once both feet have leftthe ground, it counts asan attempt; even if you have not established yourself on the start holds.

7: TOPS

A top is counted whenyou match the finish holdin a controlled manner.

8: HONESTY

Be honest about yournumber of attempts.

9: THE END?

Make sure to submityour scorecard tothe front desk beforethe end of your session.

10: FUN
